Kay Gayer
Kay I. Gayer, 82, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away at 11:20 am on December 29, 2017 surrounded by her family at the St. Marys Living Center.
Kay was born October 9, 1935 to the late Carl and Agnes (Pottkotter) Fischer. On November 16, 1957 she married Kenneth E. Gayer who survives at their residence in St. Marys.
Other survivors include her children, Michelle Gayer, Minster, Ohio, Jeffrey (Denise) Gayer, Sylvania, Ohio, Gary Gayer, St. Marys, Ohio, and David (Cindy) Gayer, St. Marys, Ohio; brother, John (Sally) Fischer, of Celina, Ohio; sister-in-law Laura Fischer, of Celina, Ohio and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anne Marie Gayer and a brother Robert Fisher.
Kay retired from the City of St. Marys after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 10:00 am, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, Ohio with Rev. Jim Keiser officiating. Graveside services will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday morning at the funeral home.
