Eugene Heitkamp
Eugene B. Heitkamp, age 82, of Chickasaw, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at Elmwood Place, New Bremen.
He was born June 3, 1935, in Mercer County to the late Anthony & Rosa (Fullenkamp) Heitkamp.
He is survived by siblings and in-laws, Arnold Heitkamp of New Bremen, Gilbert & Marilyn Heitkamp of Tipp City, Rosemary Lehman of Centerville, Linda Wenning of Coldwater, Luella Heitkamp of Tipp City, and Paul Sudhoff of Madison, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws Celesta & Harold Staugler, Ernest & Rosie Heitkamp, Ken Heitkamp, Mary Louise Sudhoff, Annette & Russ Haley, Nancy Heitkamp, Eugene Lehman, and Francis Wenning.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Chickasaw, the Chickasaw V.F.W. and the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club. Eugene retired from Crown Equipment in New Bremen and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday and 9 to 10 AM Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
