The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Lucille Boeke
Lucille A. Boeke, age 96, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born October 9, 1921 in Dayton to the late Clarence J. & Cora T. (Thade) Orf. She married Werner J. Boeke on June 5, 1948, in Dayton and he died on March 7, 1996.
Lucille is survived by her children: James & Janice Boeke of Troy, John & Connie Boeke of Coldwater, Jean & Dave Rolfes of Celina, Jerry Boeke of Walled Lake, Michigan, and Tom Boeke & Vijay D'Souza of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Dick Orf & his wife Anita.
Lucille is preceded in death by a daughter Mary Jane, and a son Joseph, siblings: Mary Catherine Orf, Martha & Robert Nartker, William Orf, and Robert & Rose Orf, and in-laws: Raymond & Marcella Boeke, Colleta Boeke, Magdalene Boeke, Carrie & Paul Hoyng, and Paul & Anne Boeke.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Holy Rosary Altar Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary #470.
Lucille was a graduate of Julienne High School in Dayton. She worked as a secretary at GEL Electric in Dayton, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at Coldwater Hospital for many years and a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday, February 16, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Thursday and 9 to 10 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice or the Briarwood Activity Fund.
