Celina Tri Star Career Compact student Michael Salyer picks up a doughnut at the Tri Star office this morning at the Celina Education Complex. Police officers in Celina, Coldwater and St. Marys were promoting safety for Tri Star students. Students who rode buses or wore their seatbelts while driving to school got a doughnut.

Correction:

Tri Star Career Compact administration on Tuesday paid for doughnuts to give to students wearing seatbelts or riding buses to promote safety and to raise awareness that February is Career Technical Education Month. Police officers helped by giving "tickets" for the doughnuts. The error was made in reporting.
