* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Thobe
David (Dutch) Thobe, age 75, of Maria Stein, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born July 21, 1942 in Minster, to the late Henry & Matilda (Heitkamp) Thobe. On May 18, 1968, he married Jean Gels, and she survives in Maria Stein.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer & Craig Hess of Troy, Daniel & Erica Thobe of Maria Stein, Holly & Shawn Crichley of Dublin, Mark & Krista Thobe of Kettering, Brad & Kelly Thobe of Oakwood, and Todd & Heather Thobe of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; siblings: Jiggs & Velma Thobe of Maria Stein, Toot Mescher of Coldwater, Mart & Tom Warner of New Bremen, Don & Patty Thobe of Maria Stein, Brownie & Shirley Thobe of Maria Stein, Margie & David Moeller of Cassella, Lois & Jay Hogenkamp of Carthagena, and Larry Thobe of St. Marys; and in-laws Peg & Dick Cacek of Englewood and Diane Gels of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Butch & Mary Thobe, Alice & Leonard Varno, Barney & Mary Thobe, Buck & Norma Thobe, Whitey & Ginny Thobe, Marilyn & Dale Miller, John Mescher, and Linda Thobe and a brother in law William Gels.
He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein American Legion and the Minster K of C. He served in the Ohio National Guard and was a Dairy truck driver. After retirement Dutch did maintenance at the Marion Township Park and he always enjoyed following the Marion Flyers Athletics and he always saw the good in everyone.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 2, and from 9 to 9:45 AM on Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to Marion Township Park.
