Weekend starts fast

Several fundraisers took place in Mercer County over the weekend. Ty Shelby, right, and Christine Shelby lead the way as they participate in the fifth annual Beards for Bikes hosted by the Mercer County Facial Hair Club. Fifty-five riders participated in the event that raised $2,000 to buy bikes for children.
