The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Judith McCullough
Judith A. McCullough, 79, of Rockford, OH passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on Sunday, July 10, 1938 in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, IN the daughter of the late Charles Brunstrup and the late Velma (Shaff) Brunstrup. She married Dick McCullough on March 8, 1958 in Union United Methodist Church in rural Decatur.
She was a proud graduate of Pleasant Mills High School where she graduated as the salutatorian & was a cheerleader for the Spartans. She had worked at several manufacturing facilities in the area, and at the time of her passing was still employed as a Realtor for Lakeshore Realty in Celina, having helped many homeowners in the Celina, Rockford, & Van Wert areas for 30 years.
She was a member of Union United Methodist Church where she was the organist for over 50 years and active in the United Methodist Women's Group.
Judy's passions were music and education, and she spoke proudly of her grandchildren and their educational and professional accomplishments. She loved all the children that she met, and considered herself to be a surrogate mother and grandmother for dozens of family & friends. Judy had very fond memories of growing up on a farm in Blue Creek Township and maintained a lifelong love of agriculture.
Survivors include her husband, Dick McCullough of Rockford, OH; son, Bruce (Lois) McCullough of Sherwood, OH; daughter, Patricia Knight of Rockford, OH; daughter, Pamela (Mike) Jones of Continental, OH; daughter, Melanie (Loren) Shindeldecker of Rockford, OH; sister, Kathy (Mark) Rutledge of Rockford, OH; brother, Tom (Lois) Brunstrup of Monroe, IN; sister-in-law, Sally Chapman of Monroe, IN; sister-in-law, Elizabeth McCullough of Decatur, IN; ten grandchildren, Leanne, Beth, Rachel, Greg, Alex, Kathryn, Samuel, Ian, Richard, & Amanda; six great-grandchildren, Thomas, Henry, Hannah, Gavin, Davis & William; numerous nieces, nephews & close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Tom Brunstrup & Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating.
Friends will be received from 4-8, Wednesday, May 9 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior.
Preferred memorials are to CHP Home Care & Hospice in Celina, Ohio.
