* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected into Wednesday morning. Locally heavy rainfall can be expected with the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same locations. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Velma McCormick
Velma McCormick, 89, Saint Marys, died suddenly at 12:14 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2018, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 13, 1929, in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Pearl (Miller) Shook. She married Donald McCormick on February 28, 1948, in Robinson, Illinois; he preceded her in death in 1981.
She is survived by her children: Donnie (Lucreta) McCormick of Saint Marys; Carolyn (George) Gay of Saint Marys; Marilyn (Terry) Slone of Saint Marys; by her five grandchildren: Daniel McCormick; Durand McCormick; John Gay; April Colwell; Michael Slone. She is survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers: Raymond Shook of Greenup, Illinois; Howard Shook of Plainview, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; by a daughter, Sally Jane McCormick; by a granddaughter, Dawn Marie; by one sister and five brothers.
Velma attended school in Robinson, Illinois. She retired from the former Saint Marys Cotton Mill, and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, taking care of her dogs, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Bob Sweeney, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
