* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

High school football season officially Underway

The first official practices of the 2018 high school football season were held around the area. Teams either started early in the morning or chose to practice in the evening. Area teams open their seasons on Aug. 24. Volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis and cross country officially begin practice on Wednesday.
