Bonnie Dreffer
Bonnie E. Dreffer, age 91 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Aug. 2, 2018 at her residence in Celina.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1926 in Rockford, Ohio to the late Basil and Jessie (Mariner) Granger. On Oct. 26, 1974 she married Richard L. Dreffer, who died April 6, 2007.
Bonnie was also preceded in death by her first husband Bevon Monroe, sister and brothers-in-law Patricia (Arthur) Bradford, James Bonfiglio and her sister-in-law Anita Granger.
Survivors include her three sons and daughter-in-law; Luke Dreffer of Columbus, Michael Monroe of Ft. Wayne, Mark (Elizabeth) Monroe of Columbus, two daughters Sara Hamblin and Melinda Dreffer of Celina, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her brother Boyd Granger of Celina and her sister Peggy Bonfiglio of Dayton.
Bonnie graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1944 and studied Music Theory in St. Louis, Missouri, then attended Wright State Lake Campus. She was a talented Musician and gave Piano lessons until 2016. She was a very active member of the Celina First Church of God and taught Sunday School classes at the Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Craig Flack and Pastor Richard Van Horn officiating. Interment of her remains will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
