At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Leo Meyer
Leo Joseph Meyer, age 93, formerly of Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes, with several nieces and nephews at his bedside, Friday evening, August 10, 2018, at Elmwood Assisted Living in New Bremen, Ohio. He had been a resident there for nearly ten years.
He was born January 1, 1925, in Fort Loramie, Ohio, to the late Frank and Agnes (Ashman) Meyer.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Thelma Meyer of St. Marys, thirteen nieces & nephews as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by six siblings: Bernadette Meyer, Dorothy Meyer, Irene (Thomas) Spreng, Hugo Meyer and infants Hildegard and Herman Meyer.
Mr. Meyer was a 1943 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. He also completed two years of Agra Business training in a GI program. Leo was a US Army Veteran of WWII and completed his tour of duty with the grade of Staff Sergeant. He had been passionately engaged in farming all of his working life.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Michael's Knights of St. John Commandery #300. He was a life member and past officer of the Fort Loramie American Legion Post #355 and had been the last living charter member of Walkup Country Club. He was a past member of the Minster Eagles and Central Ohio Breeders Association.
Leo enjoyed the company of his family and extended family. He also enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Fort Loramie American Legion.
Friends may call Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
