ROCKFORD - Vaughn Davis' career took him around the world, but the seventh-generation farmer has returned to his Western Ohio roots to start Schoolhouse Farms, which specializes in different crops and a new way to take them to market.

ST. MARYS - Back-to-back scores on trick plays provided St. Marys with all the momentum it needed in a 35-7 victory over Sidney on Friday night at Skip Baughman Stadium.
St. Marys scored on a 33-yard halfback pass in the closing seconds of the first half and followed that up with an 11-yard touchdown pass on a fake field goal three minutes into the second half. [More]

CELINA - Last year, Celina coaches thought their football squad would be ready for the season opener against Versailles. That, however, was not the case as the Tigers rolled over the Bulldogs 36-7.
SIDNEY - Fort Recovery coach Brent Niekamp knows his offense will get better.
In Friday's season opener, Niekamp's defense couldn't have been much better.
