Brenda Case
Brenda Case, 62, of Willshire, Ohio, died on Friday morning, August 24, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 31, 1955, to Jacob C. and Beatrice "Bea" ( McCoy) Putman. She was a graduate of Parkway High School, the Class of 1974. On June 28, 1982, she married Alan R. Case, and he survives in Willshire.
Brenda was a Parkway School Bus Driver for 19 years, and had also been a Post Master Relief at Willshire, Wren, Convoy, and Ohio City for 17 years. One of her biggest treats every year was going to the school and seeing which children were going to be on her bus, and meeting their parents. She loved being with the kids!
Brenda's family was the most important thing to her. She loved every one of them, without question. Brenda had lived her entire life in the area and attended the Van Wert Mt. Zion United Brethren Church. Brenda had also been a Longaberger Consultant for 10 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Alan are 3 children: 1 son, Joshua Mark (Kelli) King, Black Canyon City, Arizona, and 2 daughters: Charity Kay (Timothy) Pryor, Lewis Center, Ohio, and Krista I. (Stephen) Stauffer, Pasco, Washington; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Denny (Sharon) Putman, Findlay, Ohio; Charlie (Mary Lou) Putman, Columbus, Ohio; and Dave (Rita) Putman, Rockford, Ohio; and 1 sister: Sherry Smith, Elkhart, Indiana.
Deceased in addition to her parents is a son Cory King and a sister, Karen Moore.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Chaplain Tony Terry and Tim Pryor officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, August 31 from 2-8 p.m. and on Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be directed to the Cancer Association of Mercer County or to State of the Heart Hospice.
