Virginia Miller
Virginia "Ginger" Miller, age 73, of Coldwater passed away at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Facility in Van Wert, Ohio on October 19, 2018 after battling an extended illness.
She was born April 20, 1945 in Celina, Ohio to Clifford & Dorcas (Steen) Tester. On November 16, 1968, she married Melvin J. Miller, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter Julie A. & Andy Hrycko and son Chris J. & Jill Miller all of Coldwater; brother Ronald & Carol Tester of Celina; in-laws, Ruth & Orville Bensman of Sidney and John & Jane Miller of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brother, Clifford "Duff" Tester Jr. and his wife Joanne Tester.
Ginger was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. She was a 1963 graduate of Celina High School. She worked at New Idea, Buckeye Clothing, Jutte's IGA, and Vision Awards. Ginger enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and entertaining her neighborhood children. She enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles with her longtime neighbor and dear friend, Betty Wenning. She was a member of the St. Ann's Holy Rosary Ladies Sodality of the church and the St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Coldwater.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday October 25 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 9-10AM on Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Church. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
