Nancy Harris
Nancy E. Harris, age 80, of St. Marys and formerly of Celina, Ohio, and Weirton, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday evening Oct. 24, 2018, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on November 15, 1937 in Follansbee, West Virginia to the late Lowell & Mary (Bennett) Waugh.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Jeri VanTrees of St. Marys, her son Michael (Teresa) Harris of Weirton, W.V, seven grandchildren Cassandra (Randy) Bergman, Tesla VanTrees, Jacob (Dharma) VanTrees, Jayden VanTrees, M. Adrein Harris, Areil Harris, Angelica Rogers, five great grandchildren Addelyn Bergman, Colton Bergman, Kharter Bergman, Merrick Harris, Maxwell Harris, a brother Terry Waugh of Weirton, W.V., three sisters and a brother-in-law Betty (Rex) Mosser of Toronto, Marleen Garrett of Mingo Junction, And Marileen Morriston of Kansas City, MO, and her sisters-in-law Ruth Waugh of Kansas City, MO, Jo Ann Waugh of Mingo Junction, and Nancy Waugh of Follansbee, W.V.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry Harris, who died on Sept. 6, 2013, three brothers Bud Waugh, David Waugh, Marvin Waugh and her sister-in-law Judy Waugh.
She was a Dietician for the Hancock County Schools in West Virginia and was known as a crafty individual, who was always crocheting, solving puzzles and we can not forget her delicious baking and cookie making.
Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday Oct. 30, 2018 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating.
