Mary Ann Rutschilling
Mary Ann Rutschilling, age 94, of Coldwater passed away at Celina Manor on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
She was born January 29, 1924 in Maria Stein to the late Leo & Mary (Stammen) Overman. On May 16, 1945, she married Louis Rutschilling, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2001.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Mike & Marlene Rutschilling of St. Marys, Sam & Konnie Rutschilling of Celina, Chuck & Joan Rutschilling of St. Henry, Linda & Kim Hall of Florissant, CO and Beth & Jeff Rinderle of St. Henry; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister Bernadette Frey of Dayton; and sisters-in-law, Julitta Overman of Ft. Recovery and Grace Rutschilling of Coldwater.
She is preceded in death by siblings Betty Kelly, Bernard Overman, Tom Overman, Edwin Overman, Norbert Overman, Harold Overman, Robert Overman, and in-laws Mark Rutschilling, Paul Rutschilling, Urban Rutschilling, Mary Agnes Brooks, Theodore Rutschilling, Delma Rutschilling, and Marcella Rutschilling.
Mary Ann was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, St. Ann Rosary Altar Sodality and the St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Coldwater. She was a homemaker and worked at Briarwood Manor and Mercer County Community Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, making Christmas ornaments, playing cards and solving word search puzzles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
