David Schwarck
David Schwarck, 55, of New Knoxville, Ohio, died unexpectedly at 1:29 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2018, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born January 26, 1963, in Saint Marys, Ohio, the son of Larry and Joann (Warner) Schwarck. He married Poncheena Hecht on August 26, 1994, in Saint Marys, and she survives at the residence.
He is survived by his children: Dustin (Faith Monnin) Schwarck of Wapakoneta; Ashlan (Harley) Keiser of Saint Marys. Also surviving are his grandchildren Lucas Homan-Schwarck; Kaycen Monnin; Maverick Keiser; and a granddaughter on the way, Kimbree Schwarck. He is survived by his in-laws, Larry and Marilyn Hecht of New Knoxville; by his siblings: Dennis Schwarck of Saint Marys; Lori (Travis) Rupert of New Bremen; Lisa (David) Williams of New Bremen; by his brothers-in-law, Dean (Jill) Wurster of Russells Point; Larry (Carlton) Hecht of Columbus; Joseph (Matt) Hecht of Trenton, Ohio.
David was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Amanda Borges, died November 25, 2018.
Dave was a 1982 graduate of New Knoxville High School. He was employed at Leffel Heating and Plumbing in New Bremen. He was a lifelong member of the First Church of New Knoxville, and also attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Saint Marys.
He loved hunting and fishing and was the president of the Shawnee Long Rifle Association. He absolutely loved mowing grass, attending steam engine shows and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime Boy Scout Leader in New Knoxville.
Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Keith Stuck, officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may given to the Arthritis Association.
