Three sisters, Maxine Kile, Wilma (Jiggs) Seiler, Jo Ann (Donald) Miller, and her brother-in-law Bob Smith, preceded her in death.
Eunice is survived by two daughters, Sue Rexroat and Cheryl (Dave) Lipp, both of Celina, a sister Ardyce Lea Smith, Marshalltown, Iowa, four grandchildren; Jennifer (Dennis) Henkle, Christopher Hammons, Mitchell Lipp, Kerry Lipp, six great grandchildren; Seneca Henkle, Brandon Hammons, Mackenzie Hammons, Jacoby Hammons, Beckham Lipp, Weston Lipp and several Nieces and Nephews.
She and her husband Wayne owned and operated the Western Auto and Ace Hardware store on Main Street in Celina from 1964 to 1981.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed her time as a Brownie Leader and Sunday school teacher. She also loved to sew, make crafts, cross stitch, knit and crochet.
A longtime member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church (formerly St. Paul's United Methodist Church), Eunice helped with Election Day dinners, served as church historian and led the prayer square ministry for many years. Because of these volunteer efforts, along with her work at the polls, and her involvement with the Call Food Pantry, the Celina Area Chamber of Commerce, recognized Eunice as the Humanitarian of the Year, at the annual Celina Chamber Banquet in 2012.
She will be remembered for her kindness to others, love for her family and grateful attitude. Although quiet by nature, she made a positive impact on those around her. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
