* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... COLDWATER - A local teenager who knows what it means to fight for her health hopes to spread holiday cheer to other children fighting battles of their own.
Alexandria Koch, 16, founded a small nonprofit organization, AlexsAngelBlankets, through which she customizes blankets and creates care packages for hospitalized children. The charity was launched not long after Koch herself was hospitalized last summer due to anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder that nearly took her life. [More]

ROCKFORD - Fort Recovery held off a frenzied Parkway comeback Friday night and escaped the Panther Gymnasium with a 61-58 Midwest Athletic Conference victory.

Area school district superintendents are relieved Ohio lawmakers have passed a law giving future students more pathways to earn a diploma.
Earlier this month, Ohio lawmakers passed House Bill 491, extending this year's graduation requirements to the 2019 graduating class and beyond.

CELINA - Mercer County commissioners this week moved to approve the general plan and proceed with the Carthagena Area Sewer System project.
They also awarded Shinn Bros Inc. of Celina a $1.68 million contract for the project, which came in slightly under the engineer's estimate of $1.7 million.
