CELINA - The Celina Sanitary Landfill, which not too long ago had been projected to run out of available space in 2018, has had its life extended by a least a few more years due to a new compaction method, officials said.
In July 2017, then-facility operations manager Adam Burleson had expected the landfill to be maxed out within a year's time. [More]

The Celina bowling teams rolled their way to a sweep of Bath on Monday at 20th Century Lanes in Lima.
The Celina boys won by a score of 2,522-2,038. Nate Langenkamp led the way with a 432 series. He had a high game of 258. Parker Maurer rolled a 318 series.
