Marion grad may continue playing in Spain

ADA - The All-American collegiate career of Ohio Northern's Ryan Bruns came to an end on Saturday.
A Spanish basketball career may follow for the Marion Local graduate.
Bruns - the Ohio Athletic Conference's leading scorer and reigning Player of the Year - had 33 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks as the Polar Bears ended the season with a 79-63 rout of Muskingum on Senior Day at the King Horn Sports Center. [More]
Celina, St. Marys bring home titles at WBL tournament

WAPAKONETA - The 2019 edition of the Western Buckeye League wrestling tournament went a lot better for Celina and St. Marys.
Meanwhile, nothing changed for the host Wapakoneta Redskins, who dominated to capture a fourth-straight overall league title with a first-place finish in the tournament. [More]

CONWAY, Ark. - Ever since Celina native Steven Karafit was a kid, he has been fascinated by nature, especially plants and rocks.
He grew up on the family farm on Karafit Road, named after his great-grandfather, who bought a large plot of land in the early 20th century, Karafit, 39, said.
The final field for the 2019 Division II state swimming championships were set over the weekend as the 16 at-large spots based on fastest times were set.

Area teams swept the top-four places to all advance to the Division II boys district bowling tournament after sectional action on Saturday at Astro Lanes in Wapakoneta.
ICSO State Champs
The Grand Lake Christian boys basketball team won the ICSO state championship this past weekend for the third time in five seasons, finishing the season with a stellar 31-0 record.
DAYTON (AP) - De'Riante Jenkins posted 19 points as VCU held off Dayton 69-68 on Saturday.
Jenkins hit 5 of 7 3-pointers.
Issac Vann had 14 points for VCU (19-6, 10-2 Atlantic 10 Conference), which earned its sixth consecutive victory. Marcus Evans added 12 points and six rebounds.
