Delayed harvest

Farmers along Frahm Pike in Celina on Thursday morning harvest the last of their corn planted in 2018. Mercer County Farm Service Agency Interim Director Mike Baucher said last fall's wet weather and winter snows made harvesting difficult, forcing a number of farmers to postpone the work until now. New planting will likely start within the month, depending on field conditions, he said.
