David Smith
David J. Smith, age 60, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on May 24, 1958 to the late Delbert and Barbara (Williams) Smith.
Surviving is his fiancée, Dona Goodwin, Celina; two sons, Joe Smith, Celina, and Brandon (Alyssa) Smith, Celina; a sister, Dianna (David) Thomas, Lakeland, Florida; a brother, Doug Smith, Nevada; and five grandchildren, Braley, Kolten, Alexa, Ian, and Avery.
He was a 1977 graduate of Celina Senior High School. Dave has been the owner of Deluxe Dry Cleaner in Celina for the past 23 years and has dedicated 43 years of employment at the cleaners. Dave was very proud of this local business and continued his father's legacy that was started in 1958.
Dave was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, and the Celina Kiwanis Club.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Rev. Douglas Meyer and Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating; where the family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the services.
