Light snow across the area early this morning will increase in coverage and intensity toward sunrise in the I-70 corridor. This band of moderate snow will push south affecting the Tri-State region by mid morning, eventually pushing south of the area by early to mid afternoon.
Snow amounts of 1-2 inches will common for a good portion of the area on grassy surfaces, with melting on concrete surfaces limiting accumulations. Main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on mainly bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Monday morning commute.

Raymond Mangen
Raymond J Mangen age 97 of St. Henry formerly of Yorkshire died Monday May 27th at 1AM.
He was born on January 17th 1922 in Frenchtown to the late Peter & Louise (Grillot) Mangen. He married Donna Schroeder on April 14, 1951 at St. Nicholas Church in Osgood and she survives in St. Henry.
He is survived by two children and a daughter in law. Pat (Gast) Mangen of Miamisburg, Doug & Barb (Rismiller) Mangen of Columbus and Ron & Sue Brunswick of St. Henry. Eight Grandchildren Jim & Nicki Hagler, Dave & Leah Mangen, Tim & Rachel Mangen, Nick Mangen, Tony & Cassie Drewry, Kayla Brunswick, Mike Mangen, and Abby Brunswick and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son Denny Mangen, siblings and in laws, Leonard & Margrite Mangen, Ronald & Mildred Bey, Herman & Corrine Mangen, Dorothy Mangen, Paul & Ester Baltes, in laws & spouses Martha Schroeder, Jerome Schroeder, Fred & Romilda Braun, Lee & Helen Schroeder, Bill & Luella Ruschua, and Bill & Delores Walterbusch.
Ray served in the Army in World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood, Past Commander of Osgood American Legion and member of Versailles K of C.
Before retirement Ray was a farmer, an auctioneer, worked at NCR in Dayton, Argosy, Midmark, Carl Subler Trucking and managed the Versailles K of C Hall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday June 3rd at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in Osgood.
Friends may call Sunday June 2nd, 1-5 PM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
