James Gross
James C. Gross, age 65 of St. Henry, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at The James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on October 17, 1953 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late William E. Gross & Thelma J. (Griesdorn) Gross-Barber. On August 18, 1979, in St. Henry, he married Mary (Uhlenhake) Gross, and she survives in St. Henry.
He is survived by two brothers, Ron & Bernie Gross of St. Henry, and Dan & Lisa Gross of St. Rose, and in-laws: Daniel & Sandra Uhlenhake of Corpus Christi, TX, Barbara & Matthew Micetich of Columbus, Patricia & Daniel Sanders of Gahanna, JoAnn & Jack Hartings of Coldwater, Jerome & Janice Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Diane & Jerry Barga of North Star, John & Ann Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Carol & Joe Jones of Dayton and Lori & Chris Rammel of St. Henry, 30 nieces and nephews, and 31 great nieces and nephews, all of which he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death his daughter, Alison Gross in 1981, his step-father, Harry Barber, his father & mother-in-law, Carl & Martina Uhlenhake, and his godson, Nick Sanders.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, and the Coldwater K of C.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, June 21, and 9:00 am until 10:00 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or National Blood Clot Alliance.
