Melanie Eisenhut
Melanie Sue (Standley) Eisenhut, 64, of Celina passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 5:44 PM at University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was born on July 25, 1954 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ernest and Marietta (Parsons) Standley. In 1971, Melanie married Stanley Eisenhut, who survives.
She is survived by five children, Stacy (Randy) Grisez of Versailles, Chastity Morris of Florence, KY, Don Eisenhut, Alice (Bobby) Houston and Richie Stein all of Celina; three step-children, Stanley Eisenhut Jr. of Lima, Bobbie Jo Eisenhut and Jamie (Kristie) Slaven both of Celina; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two siblings, Tim (Jean) Standley of Sidney and Jody (Steve) Wildermuth of Anna. Melanie was preceded in death by four siblings.
Mrs. Eisenhut worked at the former Kmart in St. Marys as a retail associate in the jewelry department. Melanie enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, OH 45365 with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Friends may visit from 11 AM up until the time of the service at the funeral home.
