The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Elaine Braun
Elaine F. Braun, age 84, of Celina and previously of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 12:57 pm at Celina Manor.
She was born February 5, 1935, in Coldwater, Ohio, the daughter of John and Louise (Bettinger) Niekamp. She graduated from Coldwater High School and was a homemaker. Elaine was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Toledo.
She is survived by a son Rick Braun of Celina, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons Randy Braun and Rodney Braun.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, preceding the memorial Mass at the church. Rev. Father Rick Walling will officiate.
Preferred memorials are to Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr St., Toledo, Ohio 43615. Flowers may be delivered to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 120 E. Main Street, Coldwater, Ohio after 8:30 am Tuesday.
