Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Robert Hundley
Robert D. "Bob" Hundley, age 72 of Mercer, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 at his residence in Mercer.
He was born on September 16, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late John W. and Eva (Steele) Hundley.
Survivors include his wife Earnestine Paul, who lives in Mercer, four children; Bobby Hundley of Georgia, Todd Hundley of Caldwell, Tressa Hundley of Youngstown, Ryan (Nicole) Hundley of Van Wert, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and seven siblings; Harold Hundley of Payne, Marcia Hernandez of Van Wert, Donna Hundley of Van Wert, Norma (Rodney) Rahrig of Spencerville, Gwen (Glen) Rowe of Georgia, Shirley (Leonard) Jarman, Sharon (Charlie) Miller and his beloved dog Bella.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Smith and his brother John Hundley.
Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was a mechanic at Mercer Engine, for Kenny Schoenleben until he retired. Bob was an avid NASCAR Fan and entertained himself by rebuilding John Deere Tractors.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Jim Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before services at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
