Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Mary Morsey
Mary L. Morsey age 94 of Minster, Ohio died Monday August 12, 2019 at Elmwood New Bremen.
She was born October 2, 1925 in St. Marys, OH to Frank & Clara (Horstman) Holtzhauer and they preceded her in death. She was married May 8, 1948 in Minster, OH to Thomas F. Morsey and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2012.
He is survived by children and spouses Jay & Barb Morsey of Minster, David & JoAnne Morsey of Punta Gorda, FL, Helen & Gary Westrick of Maumee, OH, Allen Morsey & Karen Massie, Hilliard, OH, Karen & Mark Anders of Cincinnati, OH, Douglas & Brenda Morsey of Minster and Dorothy & Dan Weaver of Minster, 24 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren, sister Audrey & Ted Robbins, New Berne, NC, sisters-in-law: Eileen Holtzhauer Rochester, NY, Jean Holtzhauer, Tipp City.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Tom Holtzhauer & John Holtzhauer.
Mary was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, a graduate of Minster High School. She had worked at the Wooden Shoe Brewery. Mary loved to playe cards, golfing and following the Cincinnati Reds. She thoroughly loved spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in St. Augustine Church, Rev. Frankline Rayappa Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Memorial donations may be made to the Grand Lake Hospice.
