Rita 'Kay' Schulte
Rita "Kay" Schulte, 65, Willmar, Minnesota, and formerly of Celina, died on Sept. 12, 2019.
She was born on June 17, 1954, in Celina to Bill and Joyce (Lime) Ballinger. She grew up in Celina and graduated from Celina High School in 1973. She married Michael Schulte, who preceded her in death in 1978. She then married John Wills in 1982.
She is survived by two children, Amy Schulte of Willmar and Christopher Schulte of Cold Spring, Minnisota; a grandson, Beaudie; and brothers, Mark Ballinger of Celina and Luke Ballinger of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She and her husband, John, eventually moved to Willmar while John worked for Jennie-O as a consulting nutritionist. In 2005 she moved to Wyoming and returned to Willmar in 2015.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Sept. 18 at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home, Willmar. The Rev. Steve Verhelst officiated.
