Tom Carpenter
Tom Quentin Carpenter was born on April 13, 1936 in Mercer County Ohio as the son of the late George F. and Wanda Shimp Carpenter who have preceded him in death.
Mr. Carpenter was the father of Susan K. Carpenter of Bokeelia, FL. He has 2 grandchildren: Lee Hagan and Dana Hagan of Bokeelia also. Tom also had 4 great-grandchildren: Kyler Smith, Victoria Hagan, Alex Hagan, and Amelia Darby. He is survived by a brother: Dick M. (wife, Carole) Carpenter of Sun Lakes, Arizona and a sister: Rebecca J (husband, Ray) Adams of Tempe, Arizona.
Also proceeding Mr. Tom Carpenter in death was a brother: Jerry B (wife, Joy still surviving) Carpenter.
Tom attended Celina High School in the early-50's and was an outstanding football player. Served in the US Army infantry, and he also spent later years of service in various South American countries doing survey work.
Tom was an avid fisherman, a long time resident of Pine Island, FL and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Services for Tom will be announced at a later date.
