Life changes, poor health and shrinking social circles can result in loneliness, possibly leading to serious mental and physical issues, Auglaize County Council On Aging Director Robert Warren said.

ST. MARYS - St. Marys police officers used a taser on a man Sunday night who was carrying two knives near the Certified Oil gas station.

Police chief Jacob Sutton said the department received a call about 9:30 p.m. about a person claimed to have knives in his possession.

COLDWATER - Alex Albers was the very first runner to cross the finish line at Saturday's Midwest Athletic Conference Championships.

The Minster sophomore claimed his second conference title by running a 16:22.46.
