Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Unknown person gives nearly $2,000 to St. Marys district

ST. MARYS - The holidays may be over, but an anonymous donor kept the charitable spirit going recently by donating nearly $2,000 to clear overdue lunch account balances for all students in grades K-8.
St. Marys City Schools Superintendent Bill Ruane on Friday said $1,871.20 was gifted from someone who had previously lived in the area and who still feels a connection to the community. [More]
