The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Marie Schnarre
Marie Schnarre, age 95, formerly of Neptune, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2020 at 1:00 am, in the Gardens of Celina.
She was born January 4, 1925 in Chattanooga, Ohio to the late Vernon and Laura (Wolfe) Counterman. She married Ralph O. Schnarre Jr. on January 1, 1960, and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2015.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Mark) Elshoff, Celina, and Vicki (Eddie) Brooks, Celina; four grandchildren, Rachel (Dan) Guggenbiller, Ft. Recovery, OH, Megan (Alex Macur) Fleming, Columbus, OH, Craig (Molly) Brooks, Celina, and Chad (Rachel) Brooks, Ft. Wayne, IN; a sister, Mary Hull, Celina, a brother, Gene Counterman; and six great grandchildren, Riley, Jackson, Aleeah, Elizabeth, John, and Carrie.
Also preceded in death by four brothers, Leroy, Eddie, Glen, and Ray Counterman.
Marie was a 1943 graduate of Rockford High School. She worked at Winter Company in Berne, Indiana, Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina, and on the family farm.
She was a member of Neptune Church of God in Neptune. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, working on the family farm, being outdoors, watching her grandchild play sports and spending time with her family.
Private services will be held at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, OH. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, OH.
Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
