Ruth Getman
Ruth Getman, age 90, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2020 at 3:49 pm at Mercy Health St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born October 24, 1929 in Celina, Ohio to the late Arthur and Roxie (Wrigley) Gray. She married James Getman on March 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1993.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Richard) Sanders, Celina, Steve Getman, Celina, and Jeffrey (Karen) Getman, Hamilton, Montana; two sister-in-law, Ruth M. Gray, Celina and Joanne Highley, Celina; many nieces and nephews; two grandchildren, Jaime Delzeith, Celina and James Sanders, Columbus, Ohio; and four great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Adysenn, Lyndi and Korbyn.
Also preceded in death by a brother, Lewis (Ruth) Gray; and a sister, Evelyn Brinkman.
Ruth was a 1947 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She worked at Huffy Corporation in Celina, Jack Kerns Chevrolet Garage in Celina and owner and operated The Klay Kitchen Ceramic Studio for many years.
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County and/or CHP Hospice.
