Woman faces murder charge

ST. MARYS - A St. Marys woman was arrested for murder early Saturday morning after a reported shooting in the Sandy Beach area.

Stephanie L. Sweigart, 30, was arrested and is being held without bond on a first-degree felony murder charge, according to the Auglaize County jail website. [More]

A Rockford man was killed in vehicle rollover

WAPAKONETA - A Rockford man was killed Sunday morning when his vehicle reportedly overturned near the Mercer-Van Wert county line.

David Kimmel, 69, was pronounced deceased Sunday after his arrival at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Wapakoneta Post responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash near U.S. 33 at approximately 9:18 a.m. Sunday. [More]
