Barbara Strasburg
Barbara Ann Strasburg, age 80, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
She was born on January 8, 1940 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Herbert and Ruth (Long) Houser. She married Edgar Strasburg, who died in 1965.
Survivors include her four grandchildren; Daniel Strasburg, Raquel Strasburg, Rachel Alvarado, Cameron Strasburg, seven great grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews. Her two brothers and sister-in-law John Houser of Celina, Robert (Rose) Houser of Russia and two dear friends Arlene Crumpler and Carol Strahm, both of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Brenda Alvarado and her sister-in-law Annabelle Houser.
Barbara graduated from Celina High School in 1958 and was formerly employed in Florida as a secretary on an orange farm. She was an avid Bowler.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. She will be buried in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home before Barbara's memorial service.
