Daniel Kemper
Daniel D. Kemper of Coldwater, Ohio, died Saturday morning, April 18, 2020 at Celina Manor. He was born in St. Henry August 18, 1932 to the late Elnora (Borgerding) and Edward Kemper. He married Janet Wenning on May 25, 1957 and she survives in Coldwater.
He is survived by three sons, Tim (Joyce) of Marietta, GA, Charles (Janet) of Maria Stein and Dale (Ellen) of Dublin; seven grandchildren, Molly & Morgan, Nathan (Gina), Nicholas & Emily, and Kyle & Jason; and a sister-in-law Esther (Bob) Ballweg.
Deceased are brothers Melvin (Mary) and Virgil (Betty); sisters, Luella (Hal) Hoelscher, Leola (Gene) Grevenkamp and Alice (Neil) Gengler; and a brother-in-law George (Helen) Wenning.
He graduated from St. Henry High School, worked at New Idea, Pax Steel Products and retired from AGCO. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Coldwater V.F.W., Coldwater American Legion, Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Coldwater Knights of Columbus, St. Marys Catholic Church and the men's sodality of the church.
Due to COVID-19 a private family Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at St. Mary Church, Philothea with facebook live at (St. Mary Philothea Church). Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
