Fair likely will be pared down

CELINA - The Celina Lake Festival was called off on Tuesday night due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, joining a growing list of long-standing area summer celebrations to have been scrapped.

Sawyer Overman, 6, dies; brother is hurt

RECOVERY TOWNSHIP - Sawyer Overman, the 6-year-old Fort Recovery boy who died in an all-terrain vehicle accident, reportedly was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
A 911 call was made at 7:38 p.m. Monday to report an ATV crash had occurred in a field, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office news release. The incident took place west of State Route 49, south of Park Road. [More]
