The Flood Warning will expire at 8 AM EDT this morning for a portion of west central Ohio, including the following areas, Auglaize and Mercer. While a few roads remain closed due to high water across the area, water will slowly recede today. Additional flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
ST. MARYS - A group of scientists has begun testing another technique to clean up the water in the experimental Grand Lake St. Marys State Park West Beach area.
Officials from the Wright State University-Lake Campus, the Lake Restoration Commission and Ohio State University placed four floating wetlands in the water to see if they can remove the nutrients that feed the harmful algae.
