Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Lisa Severs
Lisa M. Filarey Severs, age 55, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on June 16, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on September 8, 1964 in Garden City, Michigan to the late Anthony Filarey and Theresa Silwinski. On September 5, 1987 she married Dennis R. Severs and he survives at the residence in Celina.
Lisa is also survived by a step-brother, Paul Malec, Michigan; a step-sister, Ann Nalepa, Michigan; and an aunt, Jennifer "Jenny" Jamieson, Celina.
Also preceded by her step-father Jim Malec.
Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Utica High School in Utica Michigan. She worked in hospitality management for over 30 years in the Detroit area.
Due to restrictions of the COVID-19 virus, we will be following the guidelines set by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's office.
A memorial service in her honor will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020, in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating; where the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
