Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Minster High School will host homecoming festivities on Friday during the home football game against Delphos-St. John. Members of the king and queen court are, back row from left, freshman Tyler Stueve; junior Johnny Nixon; seniors Phil Trzaska, Eric Schmidt, Bryan Falk, Justin Nixon, Conner Albers and Isaiah Slonkosky; and sophomore Conner Gehret and, front row, freshman Star Weigandt; junior Jayden Clune; seniors Kate Larger, Grace Schmiesing, Kyra Oldiges, Jenna Heuker, Janae Hoying and Ivy Wolf; and sophomore Taylor Roth. The traditional homecoming spirit week activities have been limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Activities this year include daily spirit themes and crowning of the king and queen prior to the football game at Memorial Stadium.
