Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Jodi Brandon
Jodi (Hume) Brandon, age 54, of Celina passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on July 13, 1966 in St. Marys, OH to James and Bonnie (Snavely) Hume.
She is survived by her significant other Jeff Bonvillion, Father Jim Hume and friend Dora Schimmoller, sisters Jennifer Hume of California, Jolisa Hume of Texas, daughter Taylor Brandon son Garret Brandon of Celina and cousin Beth Smith of Celina.
She was preceded in death of her Mother, Bonnie (Snavely) Hume and her Grandparents and cousin Dale Smith.
Jodi graduated at Celina High School in 1984. She was a member of Celina American Legion Post 210 Auxiliary, The Celina Eagles and The Celina Moose. She worked at the Celina Wine Store.
Memorial services will be held at 5p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Randy Christian officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.
