The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Marvin Hoenie
Marvin R. Hoenie, age 81, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Laurels of Shane Hill nursing home.
He was born on August 27, 1939 in Celina, to the late William and Ruby (Johns) Hoenie. On September 17, 1961, he married Janet K. Menchhofer who passed away on January 26, 2007.
He is survived by his three children, son Jeff (Sue) Hoenie of Celina, daughters Robin Hammond (Rick Krizan) of Medina, and Carol (Bret) Carpenter of Johnstown, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother Donald (Terrie) Hoenie of Clarksville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a step-mother Eleanor Johns-Hoenie.
Marvin was a graduate of Celina High School with the class of 1958. He proudly served his country, in the United States Navy, from 1958-1962. Marvin was employed by Crown Equipment for 42 years until he retired then he worked for over 12 years at the Celina Walmart.
Marvin was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210, Mercer County Sportsman's Association, Celina Moose Lodge and the Grand Lake Photography Club. He had attended St. John Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed fishing, photography, stamp collecting, and bowling. Marvin also enjoyed following NASCAR and attended many races with his son Jeff wearing his Harry Gant and Jeff Gordon T-shirts.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Marvin's services are in the care of the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
