* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Thelma Reier
Thelma Reier, 92, of Saint Marys, died 6:20 A.M. Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, Saint Marys, following a brief illness.
She was born March 23, 1928, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of Gregory and Florentine (Borgerding) Kemper. She married Leonard Reier on June 26, 1948; he preceded her in death on November 21, 2008.
She is survived by her children: Althea (John) Clugston of Columbia City, Indiana; Bernard (Liza) Reier of Saint Marys; Della Schaaf of Saint Marys; Ellen (Kevin) Paul of New Knoxville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; by two sisters: Mary Catherine Miller and Treva Kuaile; by two sons-in-law: Declan Saintignon and Larry Schaaf.
Thelma retired from Crown Equipment Corporation. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and the Altar Sodality of the church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 7, 2020, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, the Reverend Alex Witt, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where memorial gifts may be given to Holy Rosary Church. All visitors to the church are required to wear a mask in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, is entrusted with Thelma's funeral arrangements, and condolences may be sent to her family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
