Mark Carr
Mark Alan Carr, 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of colon cancer.
Mark was born on November 25, 1953, to Robert and Dorothy Leola Carr. He was raised in Celina, OH and was the 4th of 5 brothers. Mark lived a childhood full of sports, hunting and fishing as he never turned down an adventure with his lifelong friend Joe Hartings.
Mark followed his father's footsteps and began to work for Reynolds & Reynolds shortly after high school. Mark worked for Reynolds for 28 years where he excelled and was respected by so many. Mark was transferred to the Oklahoma City Plant in 1992, at which time he moved his family from Celina, OH to Yukon, OK. In 2000 Mark took on a new venture and continued in the printing business as Co-owner of Red River Printing.
Mark was an avid outdoors man. He loved to fish (especially in Coldwater, MI) and hunt. He also had a passion for sports from playing to coaching to being his kids and grandkids biggest fan! Mark's true passion though was the love he had for his family. He loved raising his children with wife Diane and was proud to watch as they grew into loving wonderful adults and parents. Mark (Poppy) took advantage of every opportunity to spend time and show his 11 grandchildren what unconditional love and support should be.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Dorothy Leola Carr.
He is survived by his wife Diane Carr; brothers: Robert Carr Jr. and wife Nan, Rex Carr and wife Joan, Chuck Carr and wife Linda, and Gary Carr and wife Cynthia; children: Brian Carr and wife Julie, Eric Carr and wife Heather, Melissa Crooks and husband Tony, Lindsay Henry and husband Mickey and Leah Goff and husband Bo; grandchildren: Julya Carr, Khole Carr, Zachary Carr, Nathan Crooks, Tyson Carr, Chase Crooks, Cash Goff, Jackson Henry, Kingston Goff, Cannon Henry, and Kambri Goff.
