Doris Weitz
Doris Jean Weitz, age 90, of Wapakoneta and formerly of Celina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at The Acres of Wapakoneta.
She was born on Aug. 20, 1930 in Mercer County to the late Chris W. and Della V. (Davis) Weitz.
She is survived by her niece Connie Boyer of Coldwater and great nephew Philip Boyer of Coldwater.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law Robert (Evelyn) Weitz, and sister and brother-in-law Betty (Paul) Egts.
She graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1948. She worked for GTE as a telephone operator and in the repair department. After her retirement she was employed by the Celina Health Professionals. She was a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 14, 2020 in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Doris' services are in the care of the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Lake United Methodist Church 119 E. Fulton St. Celina, Ohio 45822.
