Randy Williams, age 64 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his residence in Celina. He was born on April 5, 1956 in Celina, Ohio to the late Pal Williams and Lassie Smelser, who survives living in Celina.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Tim Williams of Tennessee, Jeff (Rhonda) Smelser of Decatur, IN, sisters and brothers-in-law Melisa Gordon of Tennessee, Marcy (Kevin Scherer) Koons of Monroeville and Renee (Brent) Faurote of Decatur, IN. He leaves behind several Nieces and Nephews and his good friends Dave and Donna Herring of Ypsilanti, MI.

He was preceded in death by his father and his step father Robert Smelser.

Randy graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1974. He was formerly employed at the Mersman Brothers Table Company in Celina. Randy was a caring person who was always willing to try and help you in anyway he could. You knew you were a friend if he joked with you or teased you. He enjoyed going on bus trips, gambling at the casinos and races at Eldora Speedway. He enjoyed music and liked messing around with his guitars. He was a proud dog owner and he talked about someday meeting up with them in heaven.

Private family funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 23, 2020 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Ada Hilton officiating. Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
