Mark Pennington
Mark Alan Pennington, 59, passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2021.
He was born January 31, 1961 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Dr. Cecil and Louanna (Smith) Pennington. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and a masters' degree from Wright State University.
Mark was an avid boater and prized time with his family at Lake Norris, Tennessee. For many years he could be found cheering at his kids' soccer tournaments on the sidelines. He volunteered as a treasurer with the Grove City Band boosters. His contagious and boisterous laugh could be heard across the room, welcoming guests to any gathering.
Mark was devoted to and is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Peg Pennington, and his children, Sarah Pennington, Chad Pennington, and Amy Pennington. He is also survived by siblings Norm (Stephanie) Pennington, Stephanie (Gary) Sellers, and many other relatives and friends.
A private memorial event will be held at a later date.
