At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Rick Newcom
Rick L. Newcom, age 67, of Coldwater, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his residence.
He was born June 19, 1953 in Coldwater to the late Omer Lee & Myra Margaret (Tekamp) Newcom. He is survived by a daughter Bandy Lee Newcom (Jesse Williams) of Coldwater; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taya and Whitney Godwin, Miranda Williams and Jace Eischen; siblings, Cheryl (Ron) Hafner of Atlanta, MI, Doug (Nancy) Newcom of Southport, NC, Dwayne (Tamera) Newcom of Lexington, SC; nephew Ryan (Melinda) Luken of Cygnet, Ohio and niece Mindy (Todd) Stoeckel of Raleigh, NC.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Linda Marie (Nance) and grandchildren Blake Wilges and Laura Eischen.
Rick retired from the Mercer County Highway Dept. in 2005. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, South Shore Sportsman's Club, Celina Moose and Coldwater Eagles. He also belonged to a Corvette Club in his younger years, followed NASCAR especially Bill Elliot and enjoyed boating and the lake more in his retirement years and served as crew chief for Wolf Racing.
  A Funeral Mass following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater with live stream at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday and 9 to 10 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
